Straight line ther­mo­cou­ple as­sem­blies with metal pro­tec­tive tubes (00-TMT) are used, de­pend­ing on the prop­er­ties of the pro­tec­tive tube, for com­mon tem­per­a­ture mea­sure­ments in liq­uid, gaseous or plas­tic medi­ums up to a tem­per­a­ture of 1200°C.

Straight line ther­mo­cou­ples with metal pro­tec­tion tubes and sheathed min­eral-in­su­lated gauge slide (10-TMM) are used for gen­eral tem­per­a­ture mea­sure­ment in liq­uid, gaseous and plas­tic me­dia up to 1200°C.

Straight line Ther­mo­cou­ple As­sem­blies with No­ble Metal Pro­tec­tive Tube (08-TMP) are used in the glass in­dus­try for tem­per­a­ture mea­sure­ment in glass melt­ing. The ap­plied pro­tec­tion tubes con­sist of al­loyed no­ble met­als. In or­der to meet the ex­treme en­vi­ron­ment con­di­tions, only high grade ma­te­ri­als are used in pro­duc­tion.
